epresentative Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) announced her intention to introduce a bill that would require any politician who advocates for sending American troops to Ukraine to be required to fight on the front lines with them.

The proposed legislation comes as a response to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer’s recent announcement to hold the first vote on a $118 billion foreign aid bill.

Luna’s bill aims to ensure that politicians who support sending troops to Ukraine are willing to put themselves in harm’s way, as well.

And she took a jab at Schumer (D-NY) in an announcement on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.

“In honor of Chuck Schumer, I’ll be introducing a bill that will require any politician who advocates for sending American troops to Ukraine to be required to fight on the front lines with them,” she wrote.

Luna Wants Pro-War Politicians To Be First To The Front Lines

The faux conservative group “Republicans Against Trump” took issue with Rep. Luna’s proposed bill by saying, “Literally no one is advocating sending troops to Ukraine.”

But Luna’s direct shot at Schumer is referencing comments he made regarding the $118 Ukraine and Israel aid bill in an appearance on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”

“We’re at a turning point in America. This bill is crucial and history will look back on it and say did America fail itself,” Schumer said.

“If we don’t aid Ukraine, Putin will walk all over Ukraine, we will lose the war and we could be fighting in eastern Europe and a NATO ally in a few years,” he added. “Americans won’t like that.”

Telling that he said, “We.”

Luna Says Anyone Who Votes For The Funding Bill Is Betraying America

Schumer, along with the mainstream media and America-last Republicans, has argued that the $118 billion Senate bill is a compromise and tries to portray it as equally addressing foreign wars and the ongoing war at the southern border, but it doesn’t.

“It provides billions in vital investments in America’s national security to address growing threats in the Middle East and Red Sea, equips Ukraine to fight off Putin,” Schumer said in a statement on X. “In the coming days, the Senate must act decisively on this emergency national security supplemental funding.”

As The Political Insider has pointed out, they keep mentioning border funding at the forefront of this bill, despite it only accounting for 17% ($20 billion) of the proposed funding.

In reality, Ukraine, Israel, military operations in the Red Sea, and munitions to Taiwan account for 66% ($78.5 billion) of the funding.

Luna says anyone Republicans voting for this bill is “betraying” America.

“It’s a massive issue that a border bill for AMERICA is more about funding the wars of foreign countries rather than our own interests and people,” she added.
