Are you one of those people who arranges your apps by color? Do you keep folders? Or are you, like me, a moron who just keeps a loose memory of what color any particular app is and swipes and scrolls until their eyes catch a familiar glimpse? If you are the latter, finding Disney+—and Hulu—might be getting a little harder. This week, Disney rolled out Hulu on Disney+ in the US. Ostensibly part of company CEO Bob Iger’s promise of a “one-app experience,” the launch basically just means that if you have one of the Disney “bundles” you can now…

After more than a decade of researching wellness, I’ve realized there’s no “one-size-fits-all” approach to health. Instead, each person has unique needs. This means we need to investigate what works for our bodies, and what doesn’t. For example, I reversed my Hashimoto’s and lost weight by finding adaptations that worked for me. But those same solutions might not work for others. This is why I don’t give specifics on which supplements I take each day or what my day looks like. My routine is largely irrelevant to what will work best for you because we’re all so different. Each of…

X, the social network formerly known as Twitter, is testing a feature that lets users create or join communities focused on “adult content” or other “not safe for work” material.  Users who create a community within the app can specify in the settings that their group “contains adult-sensitive content,” according to screenshots uncovered by Daniel Buchuk, an analyst at Watchful, which tracks apps’ development testing. The X groups will then feature an “adult content” label. Users who fail to label their community could see some of the content being filtered out or removed, according to the screenshots of the rules.  Communities…

There’s a new airport option for U.S. travelers hoping to make the trek to Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula — one that doesn’t involve the packed terminals and dense crowds of Cancun. On Thursday, Tulum’s brand new Felipe Carrillo International Airport (TQO) welcomed the first flights from U.S. airlines. It was an occasion marked by music, dancing and decor on both sides of the border. 1 of 7 SEAN CUDAHY/THE POINTS GUY Situated nearly 100 miles from the busy Cancun International Airport (CUN), every bit of the Tulum airport is actually new — from the runway to the building and even the…

This bipartisan sentiment makes it challenging for those trying to argue for a more cautious, less aggressive approach to the world’s second-largest economy, like former U.S. Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, who was instrumental to helping China join the World Trade Organization. (China formally joined the international body in December 2001). “I am, in many respects, an admirer and a friend of China,” Summers said in a virtual conversation with Clay Chandler, Fortune‘s executive editor for Asia, at the Fortune Innovation Forum in Hong Kong on Thursday. The U.S. and China “really have no alternative but to find a modus vivendi…

U.S. Air Force, Public domain, via Wikimedia Commons January 6 triggered a widespread movement within the Department of Defense to identify any “right-wing extremists” within the ranks. The Secretary of Defense ordered an “extremism down day,” and studies were commissioned to discover how deep “extremism” had rooted itself in the military. Hundreds of thousands of uniformed service members and I sat through scenario-based extremism training. The training came with leading videos meant to discourage everything from blatant extremism to basic gun ownership. Later, it would be discovered that there wasn’t a large swathe of military members hell-bent on tearing down…

Since Bumble’s blockbuster IPO at the height of the pandemic, investors’ ardor with the dating service has cooled. At least, Bumble’s shares trade at roughly $11 per share right now, a far cry from the $76 where they ended on its first day as a public company in February 2021. Of course, investors are fickle, which is a challenge for nearly every publicly traded company. The bigger concern for Bumble is user fatigue. People aren’t downloading dating apps as enthusiastically as they once were, which means less subscription revenue. Younger people in particular are gravitating to other platforms to find…

I’ve used a variation of this homemade tanning oil for years. When a friend recently asked about a natural homemade tanning oil, I figured it was time to share the recipe. I do occasionally use my homemade sunscreen if I’m going to be out in the sun for a long time. In general though, I prefer to get the free vitamin D from its source via moderate sun exposure. I prefer to eat my sunscreen rather than slather it on my skin… Sometimes I’m at the beach (which is a lot now we live near one!) or somewhere where I can alternate between…
