Uzbekistan’s only mobile-exclusive bank, TBC Bank Uzbekistan, owned by London Stock Exchange-listed TBC Bank Group, has raised $38.2 million in a fresh equity investment. Over 14.6 million international visitors went to Japan between January and May, according to data from the Japan National Tourism Organization. Almost 3.1 million went to the country in March alone, the highest monthly total since records began in 1964.  If that trend continues, Japan is set to exceed its record of 31.9 million tourists in 2019, just before the COVID pandemic.  Total inbound tourism spending rose to 1.75 trillion yen ($10.8 billion) in the first quarter of the year. INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — A federal judge on Wednesday sentenced a former Indiana lawmaker accused of pushing a bill favoring a casino company in exchange for promises of employment to a year and a day in prison.
