The video above features an interview with return guest Ashley Armstrong, a certified personal trainer with a Ph.D., MS and BS in engineering, and cofounder of Angel Acres Egg Co., which specializes in low-PUFA (polyunsaturated fat) eggs. She’s also started a new private member food system that offers milk, cheese, low-PUFA pork and low-PUFA chicken, called Nourish Cooperative. Both ship farm-fresh food right to your door. “One of my favorite topics is essentially just returning back…

There are many ways to earn points and miles, from the obvious ones (like flying or spending on a credit card) to some that aren’t as well known (like online shopping portals). One of my favorite ways to earn more on purchases I was planning to make anyway is by signing up for airline dining rewards programs. Most airlines have a dining rewards program that allows members to earn extra miles by using an enrolled credit card when paying their bills at participating restaurants, bars and clubs. It’s a very low-effort way to score extra rewards in addition to those…

Air raids come as Palestinians in Rafah brace for offensive that aid agencies fear will cause massive casualties. Israel has carried out air strikes in southern Gaza’s Rafah, killing dozens, according to health officials, as Palestinians brace for a major offensive on the densely-crowded city. There were conflicting reports of the death toll following the pre-dawn strikes on Monday. The AFP news agency reported that the strikes killed 52 people, while Reuters reported that 37 had been killed. Both outlets cited health officials in Gaza. The Israeli strikes hit 14 houses and three mosques in Rafah, according to Palestinian officials.…

Opinion Department of Homeland Security/Public Domain It’s no secret that America’s southern border is out of control. A chaos that the Biden administration has shown little interest in fixing. Illegal immigrants continue to pour in. According to billionaire entrepreneur and legal immigrant Elon Musk, this is part of the president’s plan to import “as many votes as possible.” Now to be clear, non-citizens cannot vote in US elections. But don’t tell illegal immigrants that. They believe they can. Watch: NEW: ‘Asylum seekers’ appear to think they will be voting in the 2024 election and say Joe Biden has their…

We were wrong about the ARK Innovation ETF (NYSEARCA:ARKK) when we covered the fund back in 2022 suggesting the high-growth and tech-heavy thematic strategy was poised to outperform. ARKK is down about 20% from that article publication date and we’ll admit it’s not one of our finer works. While stocks did indeed rebound from what was then a period of historic volatility, ARKK remained a laggard through the past year and likely a disappointment to long-time investors. In many ways, we’ve witnessed something of a tarnished image for what was a reference point for actively managed funds, particularly…

The problem with the new Taylor Swift reporter Somehow football fans have been developing a range of outlandish NFL Illuminati conversations about the Kelce-Swift relationship since her very first appearance for a Kansas City Chiefs home game against the Chicago Bears on…

The military offensive in Gaza has persisted despite a United Nations court order to end plausible acts of genocide. The United Nations’ top court has ordered Israel to prevent and punish actions that could lead to or incite genocide in Gaza. Now Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is threatening a possible ground offensive in Rafah, where more than half of Gaza’s population has fled to seek shelter. Palestinians are trapped, with nowhere to go. So, what can be done to end the Israeli…

Feb. 8, 2024 — New and effective weight loss drugs have been a game changer for people with obesity or who are overweight with a related health condition. But patients taking these drugs should not neglect diet and exercise, experts say.  In approving GLP-1 medications such as Wegovy and Zepbound, the FDA has specified that patients taking these medications should also maintain proper nutrition and get regular exercise.  Many patients receive prescriptions for these GLP-1 drugs without being advised to modify their lifestyles. One reason is that the primary care doctors who often prescribe the medications aren’t necessarily trained in…

Posted: 2/10/24 | February 10th, 2024 The second-largest city in New Zealand (and the largest on the South Island), Christchurch is filled with cool markets, funky bars, and lots of new and trendy restaurants. It’s a relaxed destination perfect for a couple of days of exploring and taking in the pace of local life. Having been severely damaged by earthquakes between 2010 and 2012, it is revitalized now. And, while there’s not a whole lot to see and do here (only 380,000 people live here after all), it’s by no means a boring destination. There’s fun nightlife, many museums,…
