Justin Timberlake’s plea deal

Timberlake and Burke appeared in Sag Harbor Village Court on September 13, 2024, and pleaded guilty. According to NBC News, the NSYNC member agreed to a plea deal with the court, pleading guilty to a non-criminal traffic offense of driving while intoxicated. Timberlake elaborated, urging everyone not to drive, even if they’ve had “one drink.”

“I would say to everyone watching, even if you’ve had one drink, don’t drive,” the pop singer said. “There are so many alternatives: call a friend, use Uber, there are so many travel apps, take a taxi. This is a mistake that I made, but I hope that everyone watching and listening to this show right now can learn from this mistake.”
